Happy Labor Day everyone, as part of my way to celebrate, here's one of two profiles I'd like to publish today. which'll be important for an upcoming story I'm working on for :iconitalianschizoidboy: and will also be appearing in the in development reboot for my story Black and White.
On a special note, I hope :iconneroursus: likes seeing these two a lot :)

~

Name: Lucy “Ice Queen” Katt

Bio: While among some of the colder monster hunters, Lucy is fair from being just the icy bitch most her bounties claim her to be, she’s a bit more complex than that.
Born in 1985, she originally lived in Laketown, Illinois and was born to a single mother, who as she later learned was raped by a random stranger, and she was the result. Because of this, this mother was quite abusive to the young Lucy, neglect and beatings were not an uncommon occurrence, when the mother simply wasn’t drinking or taking drugs.
Around the age of five though, Lucy’s mother genuinely apologized to Lucy for the way she’d treated her, told an old friend of her mother’s to call child services and then killed herself by jumping in front of a bus.
Shortly after her mother committed suicide, Lucy ended up adopted by a family that consisted of her parents, and her older brother Jacob (who was the couple’s actual son), who she ended up warming up to over the course of that year, which wasn’t easy due to how her mother treated her.
As a child, Lucy was generally a bit different than most of her female peers and tended to prefer more masculine interests, like playing with cars and toy soldiers as opposed to more feminine things like dolls. However this ended up alienating the girls in her preschool due to them having different interests, and the boys tended to think girls had cooties so…yeah she didn’t really have many friends back then, except for one, another cat named Kyle, who she ended up befriending and becoming close to, however her  lack of friends had unwittingly instilled an abrasive side to her, something that would cause her trouble down the line.
A few years later, her parents ended up adopting a young bird named Carli, and Lucy herself became highly attached to it, and it was through this a more sensitive side of her began to grow, even if she didn’t show it too much. She did however have a growing hatred towards her deceased mother, one that ultimately ended around the age of 17 after meeting an old friend of her mother’s, the same one she’d called, and learned things that ultimately caused her to forgive her biological mom.
Around the age of 12 she developed more of an interest in the field of monster hunting, and started trying to train for it via programs in the school, the instructor was also notably concerned about Lucy’s hostile and abrasive attitude.
Aside from Kyle, she ended up gaining a few more friends over the years, four others to be exact, and while she was still quite abrasive to her friends, she got along reasonably well with them, and around when she was fifteen years old, it almost seemed like she’d finally begin to thaw her heart and stop being as rude as she’d been to others…then things went horribly wrong.
She wasn’t just abrasive verbally, because often she could be physically as well, and even then she was why too easily agitated…she’d also ended up developing a crush on Kyle, which ended up causing immense internal jealousy due a foreign exchange student he’d developed a long distance relationship with.
One night, after a particularly frustrating month for the two, Kyle had finally had enough of a somewhat undeserved amount of Lucy punching and kicking him, a botched love confession, and Mort’s growing resentment towards being used as a sort of crutch, proceeded to verbally tear into her for pretty much everything bad she ever did to him, and made her feel so much like dirt, she attempted to jump off of a bridge.
Which is when a teenaged Ednit Mritue, then happening to be hiding out in the city, noticed and stopped her from attempting a lethal swan dive, the tiger didn’t know just why she was trying to commit suicide but was actually kinda pissed when he realized it, when she asked why he did he admitted he’d done it mostly out of instinct, he simply said that her life is hers and she can do what she wanted with it, and shortly before he left, Lucy ultimately decided she wanted to live.
Ultimately, she ended up realizing that she could not actually head back to school. Especially since she didn’t want to face Kyle again…however, she had an uncle in Hetelville whom she’d visited before, and through some negotiations with her parents, she ended up going down there to try and continue her education at a school more suited for budding hunters.
At her request, some misdirection was employed to keep her old friends (feeling she couldn’t ultimately face them again after this) from realizing just where she actually went, it hurt to do this, but she ended up doing it so she could put this behind.
Her sister Carli ended up going with her, at her own insistence, a surprisingly smart child, the ten year old bird realized Lucy would no doubt have trouble adapting to the new city. Lucy and her parents did not especially approve of the idea, but ended up allowing it provided Lucy took very good care of her.
Lucy had a small bit of trouble adjusting to her new surroundings, mostly because of the unprecedented amount of paranormals living there, but also because there were few people taking the monster hunting  courses back home, but there were a lot more there, including such talented and promising ones as the younger Alistair Garth.
However, she was able to make friends a bit easier, such as with the hot tempered Isabel Gomez, who she got off on the wrong foot with due to an intense argument over whose locker was whose…that ended up destroying the hallway they were in. However, despite at first being enemies, they ended up making peace after they both realized they’d repeatedly hit each other’s berserk buttons too much. The two tsunderes ended up becoming the best of friends.
As she went through high school, despite her increased competition, in particular from Alistair, who was among the top students in the course, like she was, she still made it out relatively okay, and did fairly well in college. Like Alistair, she also did monster hunting often for both practice and as a ‘part time job.’
Lucy ended up losing her virginity to Rod Garth shortly after she went to college, but never really tried to find a boyfriend, for reasons mentioned below.
She grew a form of reputation…mostly in how she was often a rough fighter who generally brought in her prey injured, and due to her generally not giving a shit about that, she grew the nickname of “The Ice Queen.”
About two months prior to her college graduation, she ended up being among the hunters who attempted to snag a contract from Pachyderm Pictures studios to find out who was violently harassing a white furred German shepherd movie star, this was how she first encountered Bonnie North, who was behind all of it to get back at her German shepherd ex, and his feline girlfriend. This also what lead to Bonnie turning into Bonfire Vanities when a fight at the movie studio with the gang she recruited ended up causing a fire, and Lucy basically let Bonnie fall to what she assumed was a fiery death after the Irish Setter pushed one button too many and decided “Fuck the reward”, something she regrets to this day.
She’s lived quite an interesting life as a huntress, with her younger sister basically serving as her assistant and partner, she’s been able to make a good living for herself, though she has to put up with a constant, ongoing war with Bonfire Vanities that’s lasted for years, and she has not met any of her old friends ever since, partially out of fear and partially because she doesn’t think they’d want to see her as she is now.

Personality and mannerisms: While she’s commonly called “The Ice Queen”, the name itself is sort of a misnomer…well, sort of, she’s not as cold as people claim she is, it fits more for her tendency to (usually) stay cool under pressure.
Due to unfortunate luck in having no friends at first when a kitten, and the fact Hugh, one of her former friends, somehow was the only person in town who knew where to find a therapist, she developed trust issues and grew up as sorta clingy, though she’s actually overcame both for the most part…she is however still quite insecure, but will admit it as little as possible.
She tends to be quite violent, though she’s pretty much grown out of her old habits of punching and kicking people when she gets mad, and if anything will generally just yell at or insult people if they happen to be either friends or people she doesn’t really have a beef with…she does however have no problem with beating the hell out of her bounties when thoroughly pissed off. She wishes she was not as violent as she is, a trait that she ended up with due to abuse she received from her birth mother. Lucy is also very sarcastic as well, regardless of whether or not she’s mad at anybody. However, in spite of this she really loves fighting, even if it usually doesn’t show, due to a mix of actually wanting to fight, and also due to the ‘rush’ combat gives.
Stupidity and losing tend to be two of the things that piss her off less, but do enrage her, what really pisses her off A LOT happen to be rapists, which she despises to immense degrees, about the only thing that can piss her off more than that is when someone threatens or hurts Carli. Despite having anger issues of her own, they’re much better than those of her friend Isabel.
While she was immensely depressed as a result of her falling out with Kyle, she has somewhat gotten over the trauma, but as she’s afraid of facing her old friends as she is now, keeps them as far away from her as she can manage, but has Marigold monitor them a bit to make sure they don’t occupy any nearby space. However, she has mostly forgiven her friends for past offenses, even Kyle due to his later remorse over what he did, she does however have a bone to pick with Hugh, due to a different matter that concerns her biological mom (who she’s also forgiven due to details of her past an old friend told her about, and is the true reason she hates rapists as much as she does).
She tends to be cool under fire, even when she’s pissed off, and can keep enough of a clear head to control her strength and wherever she’s pointing a gun.
She has had sex with a few men in her life, but also just very few of them (though her sexual history is still kinda above average), and has little interest in finding a boyfriend, least of all right now, that being said she does tend to be on very good terms with a couple of the men she has slept with, who are basically friends with benefits, one of whom is Rod Garth who as mentioned above, deflowered Lucy in college. She doesn’t generally appreciate people constantly trying to hit on her, and will make it clear at the drop of a hat.
While often a snarky, frustrated woman, Lucy is ultimately quite sweet underneath all that, this is shown both by her being better behaved around her family, especially Carli, and the fact she would go to hell and back for any of her friends. She also tends to emote more around Carli and Isabel (though comparatively less if anyone else is around.
Her hatred of Bonnie is mostly due to the guilt of letting her fall (due to how the maniac’s killed way too many people as Bonfire Vanities), while Lucy is willing to kill opponents on a kinda regular basis, she doesn’t generally kill outside of a fight. Bonnie however she’ll happily kill under any circumstances, especially since she never really stays dead, so to both vent her frustration out on the setter, and also to give Bonnie a lot of reasons to not break out of prison as frequently as she used to, she will often kill her archenemy, and usually in an over the top or painful manner.
She’s still got issues stemming from her younger years, even if she’s gotten a good handle on most of them, and is still trying to deal with them as well.
One of her favorite forms of exercise happens to be jogging.
Lucy is also actually a friend of Ednit Mritue, who she likes a lot due to how he saved her life and talked her into continuing to live…however, as a result of this, she is not on particularly good terms with Alistair, who suspects she’s connected to him in some way, and is concerned about her interfering in his attempts to capture his archenemy. If the two ever have to team up, the two generally tend to bicker and argue, though he does suspect he saved her from the attempted suicide he knows she tried to do, he doesn’t really hate her but does hate the fact she doesn’t hate Ednit.
She has a noted resentment to people insisting she's 'white', true her fur color is literally white, but she's not ethnically Caucasian, in truth she's Eurasian (the Khao Manee is a Vietnamese breed of cat, her biological father however was from a British breed of feline).
Other interests tend to include videogames, singing (really only when by herself or just around Carli), dancing (see singing), martial arts, Batman Comics (which given her feud with Bonnie, and who she pretty much is to her, is highly ironic), standup comedy (as a spectator) and football. Her favorite foods are Mexican food, ice cream, pork, pears, sour candies, milk and colas.

Powers, skills, and equipment: Lucy Katt is a well trained huntress, one with a bushel of issues to deal with, and no shortage of bitches to take it out on.
Lucy’s main strength in fighting is her hand to hand combat skills, which are well developed through her monster hunter training, she has a black belt in kung fu and has no problem with using it, plus numerous other fighting skills and moves she’s picked up, her skill is great enough to easily be able to fight multiple people with ease, her feline claws also aid her well in this, as well as a telescopic bo staff she periodically uses to help kick in heads.
She is also a skilled gunfighter, able to handle the pressure in them easily and can keep a steady aim, while she especially loves fighting up front and personal, she’ll be just as happy to shoot people when she needs to. The fact she owns a large variety of firearms and knows full well how to use each doesn’t hurt. She is not the best when it comes to sniper rifles, and though she’s not the best shot on earth, or even the best gun totting monster hunter, her own skills with shooting are to never be underestimated.
Despite being a cat, her own skill with stealth is much worse than you’d ever expect it to be, she can do okay with it admittedly, but she isn’t super good with it, she can remain undetected but actually moving stealthily is the problem, which isn’t helped by the fact she enjoys smashing her enemies and just bursting in to fight more.
Lucy’s in great shape, which allows her to have great stamina and strength, with her blows often being referred to as feeling “Like a brick” whenever they connect. This makes getting into arms reach of her much more dangerous in a fight.
While she’s more known as a combat heavy huntress, she’s also known to be pretty smart as well, her detective skills aren’t totally the best, but she is pretty good with it nonetheless. She’s good with deduction and finding clues, though one of her biggest strengths in this regard is her immense determination and how she generally refuses to give up when trying to hunt anyone or anything she’s going after, especially Bonfire Vanities.
As a cat, she is faster, more agile and balances better than normal humans, she also possesses the ability to see in the dark and has a good sense of smell, her hearing though is about as good as a normal human’s due to an incident when she was younger that permanently decreased her hearing. She is also capable of contorting and stretching like a cat can, and as such is capable of easily handling falls.
She has a high tolerance for pain, matter of fact usually pain just makes her angry, and threatening Carli pisses her off more, which is a big reason why Bonfire Vanities has never acted on any threats issued towards her sister or tortured her, since that only makes her even more dangerous.
Lucy also is known to be a pretty good driver, though when actually chasing after enemies, she is known to drive very fast and when she wants to fight with her car, will in fact speed along in an intentionally destructive manner.
She has used the money she’s amassed over the years to buy herself a large variety of equipment, including a large number of guns, some martial arts weapons (including the above mentioned telescoping bo staff), and a bunch of surveillance and crime investigation equipment, Carli is more skilled than she is about this, able to manage it expertly as Lucy’s assistant. The cat is no slouch in knowing how to use it though, just not an expert.
A final skill to mention is that despite being a rough woman…she is actually pretty good at dancing, and singing, with the former though she tends to dance more in the style of like Christopher Walken did in the Weapon of Choice music video.

Appearance: Lucy Katt is a twentynine year old female humanoid khao manee cat. While rough and having fought a ton of people over the course of her life, she’s still in pretty good shape, and has Eurasian features.
She is almost six feet tall, and has an attractive figure, but also is physically fit, albeit not really muscular in appearance, she has white fur, green eyes, short hair, a fluffy (but kinda rough at the same time) tail, and she herself also has a beautiful face, her own body having a very attractive figure as well, with a large rack and well toned buttocks.
As for clothes, her fashion choices have changed since she was a teenager, due to living in an area of town that has a major cyberpunk motif, she naturally was influenced by this a bit.
Her main outfit (which she enjoys wearing on the job and off) consists of a pair of black pants, a white shirt with the image of an iceberg around her chest (like a sort of insignia), a pair of black boots that have some glowing designs on it with small glowing iceberg designs around the middle of the feet, and a black overcoat, with some noticeable cyberpunk designs on it (for design purposes these’ll be discussed later once she’s being drawn). Another thing to mention is that she has several ‘tron lines’ on her shirt and pants, she also owns several pairs of sunglasses, one of which is actually pink, and resembles this here tse2.mm.bing.net/th?id=OIP.M80…

Other: Lucy’s production history is a bit odd, she started out as a character for a story I wrote called Black and White, and in there was very much just an older version of Lucy from Bittersweet Candy Bowl…if she grew up into an assassin. Some talk with Neroursus (who I wrote the story for) however gave me the idea to try and make her into my own character, which lead to me deciding to not only reboot the story but also redesign Lucy so she was adapted to the Death Valet world, so now she’s more of a homage to the character instead of a fanfiction version of her.
Her ideal voice has not been figured out yet.
Next up is Lucy's archenemy Bonnie North.

A good and very comprehensive description. Lucy and Bonnie will be the next two cartoons to appear in my gallery. Life has been pretty hectic lately and I've become a father about 6 weeks ago. As my routine settles I'll have more time for art so watch this space.
